Excuse Me Cadillac, But That Isn’t Kate Walsh

This one is just bizarre and makes me unhappy in the pants. Obviously this is a remake of the famous commercial originally done by Kate Walsh. This dude (no idea who he is) had another one where he talked about being a hammer and blah blah blah. Running parallel to this was a spot featuring Kate Walsh that more than likely was more successful to whomever this guy’s hammer one was for various reasons.

Ok so it’s not really the other commercial “verbatim”, but it’s pretty damn close. The only change I could tell was that he didn’t bring up the “smelly (I seriously can’t understand her, but I know that I like the smell of wood in a car) wood accents” and instead talked about some performance features that don’t matter. I can’t really say for sure though as I only watch about 10 seconds of each one of these commercials. The whole thing seems kind of hacked together though. Like it was an obvious reject that somehow was leaked to the television airwaves anyways. It makes me feel uncomfortable Cadillac and far from turned on.

What are you really playing at here anyhow? Don’t know you that women don’t have sex drives. At the very least a woman would never be motivated to buy something for sexual purposes. If they were there would be an industry for it. Maybe fake penises or other ready to insert objects. Perhaps something that imitates the “dryer” effect and vibrates. The next thing we know there will be some sort of women’s rights movement and they will be wearing artificial man parts strapped to their bodies under their skirts at work. What is the world coming to.
